The display
case is specially designed to house the Andrew Linacre Memorial Trophy Medal, awarded
annually to the skipper and crew at the Stonehaven Cup National Sailing
Championship. Crafted using advanced laser-cutting technology, this innovative
folding frame showcases both sides of the medal, thanks to a rotating central
pivot. The frame can be easily folded flat for convenient storage. The design
is further enhanced by an illustration of an Australian 12-Foot Cadet Dinghy,
with the winning boat from the 88th regatta,
‘Mollie G’, engraved. Constructed
from plywood and brass fittings, the case reflects the traditional materials
used in cadet dinghies for over a century.
